Our World Therapy Massage Treatments all come with their own unique scented oils and location appropriate music to take you away on your own mini-getaway.

Shirodhara-   starting at $99.00/60 minutes

The Shirodhara is a profoundly relaxing treatment that begins with a foot soak.  Once your on the massage table we surround you with warmth and start at your feet for a relaxing foot massage and work up your lower leg.   Shirodhara oil treatment begins with a soothing, steady stream of warm oil  applied over the forehead helping the body become relaxed.  The oil is then massaged into your hair and scalp,  followed with a face, neck & shoulder massage. A quick facial cleansing is followed with a final scalp massage.   It calms the central nervous system & integrates the mind and body.   Excellent for those with headaches, migraines or head & shoulder stress.  SHIRODHARA IS NOT A FULL BODY MASSAGE.
 

Abhyanga Four Hands  -   starting at $158.00/90 minutes  AVAILABLE STARTING JULY 1, 2008

Two specially trained therapists apply this four-handed ayurvedic massage in sync with one another.  The two therapist mirror each others movements to offer a treatment which originated in India more than 5,000 years ago.  Using synchronized and choreographed movements to stimulate and balance the body.  This kind of massage is considered highly therapeutic, restoritive and nuturing.  The movements on the lymphatic drainage system make this an excellent detoxifying treatment as well. 

Forearm Dance Body Massage  -   starting at $110.00/60 minutes  AVAILABLE STARTING JUNE 1, 2008

A flowing and rhythmic massage that is an invigorating, groundbreaking massage technique that combines efficient body mechanics with the use of the therapist forearm.  This massage focuses on giving a full body circulatory massage combined with the depth and muscular separation found in deep tissue work.  This massage is deep, yet tender and nurturing.

Ashiatsu Massage -   starting at $98.00/60 minutes

This is a technique of massage therapy performed with the feet.  “Ashi” means feet, and “atsu” means pressure.  Ashiatsu is usually performed on a massage table with the barefoot practitioner holding onto bars in the ceiling & gliding their feet over the body, giving just enough foot pressure to relieve tension & toxins in muscle tissues.  Ashiatsu is an ancient form of bodywork, sometimes referred  to as barefoot Shiatsu.   It is a well documented, effective technique for the treatment of chronic lower back & neck pain, & is recognized by the American Medical Association.

Reflexology is based on the theory that the feet are reflections of the entire body and through massaging and working points in these areas, the entire body benefits.   We begin with a warm foot cleansing, then we massage and work the reflexology points in the feet.
